A few weeks back we had the great pleasure of talking with the dynamic duo of THX - CEO Jason Fiber, a man who has worn many hats, done many things in the / for the alternative / underground music scene and industry, now heads up one of the biggest names in audio visual technology, and the insanely dynamic and prolific Kasson Crooker, Director Of Product Development at THX. Kasson too is many things above and beyond his role at THX. He is an Electronic Music Artist, Video Game Music Composer, Videogame Developer, Sound Designer, Music Producer, the lot, who has many games and music releases to his credit.
In this episode, we talk THX Spatial Audio, DolbyAtmos and immersive audio with Jason and Kasson, we talk the state of the state for these technologies as well as the future. We talk production and his myriad works with Kasson, we talk to Jason about his path through the music scene and industry in LA up to his current role, and trade some stories along the way.
