LEGEND: Pope Lick Monster - The Kentucky Goat-Man

38m · Ain't No Such Thing - Original Southern Horror Stories · 25 Feb 19:00

Just outside Louisville, Kentucky, there is a train trestle famous for its devious, dangerous denizen, the Goat-Man - The Pope Lick Monster. This scheming critter lures the curious and the daring onto the bridge with its arcane abilities, only to leave them in the path of the oncoming train. Jess, Amanda & Kevin take on The Pope Lick Monster and consider:

  • What he tells people that compels them to wander onto the tracks and to their doom;
  • Why he's such a jerk;
  • Where he ranks compared to other fuzzy cryptids found in the South.

Ain't No Such Thing is produced by Amanda Rachels.
