Tankpetrol is a Polish stencil artist living and working in Manchester. His stunningly detailed and military themed imagery of strong women are both powerful and beautiful at the same time making him a fast rising star in the street/urban art festival circuit.
JB and Tom caught up with Tank during a short trip Berlin where he was invited to paint a mural at the head offices of the UN (Urban Nation). Along side of his song selection of dub-ed out reggae and african vibes, Tank talks about the long and grueling process of creating his stencils and the symbolism embedded within his work.
