Cleopatra Saved My Life – with Michael Seaver, Leadership Coach

1h 2m · The Tingle Zone with Andrew Miller · 04 Sep 08:00

In this episode, I'm talking with Michael Seaver, an executive coach, leadership consultant, author and public speaker who focuses on unlocking human potential, helping you uncover your most authentic self and define your life's purpose.

Raised on a farm in a small town in Michigan, Michael started working in the family business at the age of 12. When he got married and moved away to Arizona it certainly helped him to broaden his horizons and develop plenty of business and people skills, but also set him up with a number of challenges and created a lot of stress.

Eventually, when his marriage fell apart, Michael went through a state of despair and depression to the point that he was giving serious consideration as to why he was on this planet.

However, a bizarre event involving his cat, Cleopatra, helped him to turn his whole life around, setting him on his journey to understand potential and purpose.

In our conversation, we cover such topics as:

  • how we can take our darkest moments and turn them into opportunities for growth;

  • how being still and trusting in yourself will lead you to the answers you seek; and

  • why stepping into nature can instantly reduce stress and anxiety.

Ultimately, the secret to happiness and a life of joy is about becoming the person that you needed when you were younger.

Born For Purpose - with Andrew Miller, Business Enjoyment.

This is a very different episode, as I am my own guest.

The Tingle Zone is going to have a bit of a break as I am currently refocussing my efforts on a very specific market, those who are Child-Free.

The basic principle stand the same - in terms of finding your Purpose and what it is that makes your bits tingle - but as family is often cited as the reason for so many, there is a different nuance when it comes to those who - like me - don't have children.

For my loyal listeners I therefore share with you the audio version of a chapter I contributed to the International Bestselling Book - Transforming Your Life - Vol III

In it, I share my background, my journey and how I came to uncovering my Purpose.

This is only for my subscribers - I won't be promoting the episode as most people have to pay to access the book or the recording - so it's a little Easter Egg as my gift to you for staying with me on this journey.

Do keep an eye on my Linkedin Profile to see what events are coming up and I hope to be back with you soon.

But for now, sit back, relax - think about what makes your bits tingle, and most of all, enjoy!

The Dangers of People Pleasing – with Marcio Santos, SEO Expert

In this episode, I'm talking with Marcio Santos who shares his incredible journey from leaving his agency to becoming a digital marketing expert.

But there's more to this story than just professional success. Marcio opens up about the transformative power of working one-on-one with clients and the unique challenges he faced when his mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

In our conversation, we cover such topics as:

  • the importance of continuous learning and incremental improvement in marketing;

  • the significance of understanding human behaviour and leveraging counterintuitive ideas to drive business growth; and

  • the importance of aligning one's actions with what truly matters

We All Have the Same Story – with Michael de Groot, Storyteller

In this episode, I'm talking with Michael de Groot who helps businesses tell better stories about themselves, frequently through images and animation.

Part Dutch, part Indian and raised in Suriname, Michael had an interesting upbringing along with adventures in many different ventures. All the different strands of Michael's life come together at the end to where we find him today as a confident creator.

In our conversation, we cover a number of topics, including:

  • what happens to others when you tell your story;

  • an insight into the drip-drip effect of advertising; and

  • the four key things that every story has to have in it.

What is particularly interesting is that, in terms of basic structure, we all have the same story. The nuances may shift but the essence is the same for everyone – and this is why we identify so much with books, films and the power of story.
