Castell Group, which started as a local construction company specialising in building social and affordable homes in and around Swansea, has now become a formidable player in the UK housing sector.
With nearly 50 motivated and skilled employees, over 250 homes currently under construction and a further 800 homes already in its land pipeline, totalling over £200 million in project value, Castell Group is making a significant difference in the social and affordable housing sector.
The company's mission is to make an impact by addressing the housing crisis head-on. Castell Group has set its sights on becoming a pivotal force in the West Midlands, aiming to achieve a remarkable output of 500 homes annually in the region. This ambitious target will not only create new opportunities for local trades but also provide employment opportunities for the region's talented workforce.
Dorian Payne, the young managing director at the helm of Castell Group, laid out his firm's philosophy: “We see a housing crisis in our country, and it's time to act. Our expansion into the West Midlands is the latest step in our ongoing effort to make a substantial difference to people's lives. We believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, and we are determined to make that a reality."
He added: “Our expansion into England is more than just a business venture: it's a symbol of hope for thousands of families in need of a stable and secure place to live. I have the support of a fantastic and rapidly growing team, and we are all committed to delivering high quality, socially impactful housing that will hopefully shape communities and change lives across the West Midlands."
The expansion into the West Midlands is just the beginning, and Castell Group has its target set on becoming a UK-wide developer over time.
