These systems inherently produce waste products and lose value on a local level. Bryce recalls the time he met the founder of Toyota and how their company had a 100 year plan, positing that planning this far ahead is a necessity.
Michael wants to see CEOs and leaders be incentivized to optimize their businesses for the long term. It is important for leaders to have a reason why they do what they do.
