Three amazing, unsigned, queer artists join us in the Joy studio to share one of their own tracks and a Christmas favourite. Just Shy performs his new track, He's Everything, and a cover of Chris Rea's 'Driving Home for Christmas'. Umbra Moon performs 'Temporary Healing' followed by a cover of Sia's 'Snowman'. And Maikee (Mark Jozinovic) gives us a sneak preview of his upcoming January 2024 release 'Fall into the Sunrise', closing the show with a gorgeous cover of Wham's 'Last Christmas'.

Annie Louey and Mohammed Magdi join us in the studio to talk about their new Melbourne International Comedy Festival show, 'Too Haram to Handle'. They share the origins of the show and their other MICF recommendations, and Annie and Ando reminisce about their time in radio together. Too Haram to Handle Annie Louey and Mohammed Magdi are comedians dating across continents. Annie is Chinese-Australian living in Melbourne. Mohammed is Egyptian but has lived in China for 11 years. Annie is still getting used to learning about her own Chinese culture through an Arab. They first met on Love Island, aka Hong Kong. Annie returned to Australia with a long-distance relationship, a massive medical bill and 25 minutes of new material. Meanwhile Mo stayed back in his Bachelor pad, crying into his bubble tea and scheming about how they could see each other again. And so, this show was born.
