The Power of Perspective: Part Two - A conversation with MechaniGirl (Cajsa Lindberg)

25m · Zapgirl and the Podcast · 01 Aug 00:00

Hi there...

THANKYOU for joining me for Episode 5 of Zapgirl and the Podcast. Seriously excited to share this conversation I had recently with one fabulous super human. Her name is Cajsa Lindberg, from Stockholm, Sweden and she lives with Type One Diabetes. She's also the President of the Swedish Diabetes Association (and is the youngest person to hold that office). She does a lot of wonderful things, so I encourage you to listen in.

This episode will bring you courage to tackle the things in front of you... no matter what they are. Empower yourself to change your perspective.

Oh... and this is a two-part episode, so PLEASE be sure to listen to the previous episode to really embrace the full picture of what an amazing journey this talented, caring, strong, Warrior Woman has taken.

Click here to learn more about how Cajsa has chosen to give back... to Live On, Give On, and Dream On.

...and, as promised, pictures!!

Thank you, again, for tuning in. I'd be honored if you subscribed and shared this podcast. I'd love to hear from you, too! If you have an idea for the show, please send it to me!

With Gratitude,

Carrie

One more thing: I missed giving a shout out to Clarissa Solari who was there with us in Hawaii. She's a  2017 Bakken Invitation Honoree, a new Mom, and a person that lives with Type One Diabetes. So much love to her!

Happy Birthday, Earl Bakken! A Conversation with Earl's dear friend and cohort, Susan "Connecto" Pueschel

THANKYOU for joining me for this special episode of Zapgirl and the Podcast!!!

It's Earl Bakken's 96th Birthday!

You might be saying, "Earl Who???" Well... here's a little about him. I'm lucky enough to have met him and am grateful for all of his extraordinary contributions to humanity. He gave selflessly, encouraging others towards greatness.

Susan shares her story of starting out as an EMT and how she came to work along side one of the greatest minds in medical technology. She talks about their adventures together while helping to create one of the most innovative ideas in health care for the Big Island of Hawaii.

I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Bakken shortly after his 94th Birthday. I profusely thanked him for all he's done for me and for so many others around the world.

He was a real-life Super Hero.

Thank you, again, for tuning in. I'd be honored if you subscribed and shared this podcast. I'd love to hear from you, too! If you have an idea for the show, please send it to me!

With Gratitude,
Carrie ❤️⚡️

The Power of Possibilities: Part Two - A conversation with Olympic Super Hero Paul Wylie

THANKYOU for joining me for Episode 6 of Zapgirl and the Podcast!!!

Have you ever had a conversation with an Olympian where they tell you what their secret was to winning an Olympic Medal?? I was lucky enough to do just that recently and I'm thrilled to share my conversation with Olympic Super Hero, Paul Wylie. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his lovely wife, Kate, and their three amazing kids.

Paul won the Silver Medal for the USA in Mens Figure Skating at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. The thing is though, he was the underdog... but he focused his energy and opened himself up to the possibility of actually winning!

He talks about how he put himself in a grateful state of mind, even when it doesn't come naturally... sharing his process on how to accomplish what you set out to do.

Oh... and this is a two-part episode, so PLEASE be sure to listen to the next episode to really embrace the full picture of Paul's professional and personal journey of resilience.

Thank you, again, for tuning in. I'd be honored if you subscribed and shared this podcast. I'd love to hear from you, too! If you have an idea for the show, please send it to me!

With Gratitude,
Carrie ❤️⚡️
