Ep 72 - What if everything is actually okay.

19m · Beings Of Bliss Podcast · 07 Jan 09:34

We discussed the following from the Book Joy is my compass. 1. Many of us want our life’s path to be one of joy and lightness only. We don’t realize that earth is also a schoolroom where we have to learn all the lessons. When we are willing to look at, embrace, and learn from the challenging feelings in our lives—sadness, grief, fear—then we find that our capacity for joy and love is actually increased. 2. We need but to stop the busy-ness of our lives for a moment to discover that healing is continually calling us to receive it. Our role is to be willing to offer love an open door to the altar of our heart. 3. Bob continued, “Then I step out on faith, knowing that God would rather teach me by happiness than by suffering. I have been following the joy voice for a long time now, and I have never been sorry. I know that God leads me through life to my highest good by lighting up the path of my best interests with joy." 4. “What if this were all OK?” the gentle voice whispered. “What do you mean, ‘all OK?’ ” my conscious mind retorted. “This scene is weird.” “Think again,” that noble voice gently urged. “Imagine—just imagine for a moment—that all of this is OK, and that none of what you see around you holds any real threat to who you are or your power to be happy now. Imagine that your safety remains quite inviolate even in the midst of this story line.” Now, that was interesting. I did feel a breeze of peace as I considered this notion.
