Dr. Alexandra Flynn is an Associate Professor at Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia where she teaches and researches in the areas of law and cities. Her work focuses on the constitutional role of cities and urban governance, and she has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, reports, and media articles in leading publications. She is currently leading CMHC and SSHRC-funded projects focused on Canada’s housing crisis: theHousing Assessment Resource Toolsproject, which redefines and helps to measure housing need; and theBalanced Supply of Housing Node, which brings together academic and non-profit community organizations to research responsive land use practices and the financialization of housing. She is also working on several projects related to precariously housed people in Canadian cities, including the governance of personal property of precariously housed people, and human rights and tent encampments.

Janet Davidson works in health care consulting with a focus on strategy, organization management and design, and governance. Formerly, she served as Deputy Minister of Health for Alberta. Janet has over 40 years of experience in healthcare in the government, voluntary and hospital/community sectors in a number of Canadian jurisdictions and internationally.
Janet currently holds the position of Administrator of the Nova Scotia Health Authority. She is a Board member of Bayshore Healthcare and the Hospital for Sick Children and immediate past chair of the Canadian Institute for Health Information and the Digital Research Alliance of Canada. She is the inaugural Johnson Fellow with the CD Howe Institute and co-chairs their health policy council.
Janet received a Bachelor of Nursing Science from the University of Windsor and a Master’s in Health Services Administration from the University of Alberta. She is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Education program at Rotman, the UC Berkeley School of Public Health’s Global Health Leadership program and has an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from the University of Windsor. She is an Officer of the Order of Canada and has been named twice to the list of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women and Canada’s Top 25 Most Influential Women.

Stewart Beck is a seasoned diplomat, trade commissioner, and policy expert with over four decades of experience in promoting Canada's interests in Asia and the United States. He retired from his diplomatic career as Canada's High Commissioner to India and for seven years thereafter he was the President and CEO of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. He currently sits on a number of not-for-profit boards and is a member of the World Anti-Doping Agency's Nomination Committee.

Captain Gary Russell is a Boeing 737 pilot based in Vancouver, and is a former union executive for the Air Canada Pilots Association. Prior to his appointment as the Association’s Chairman, he served two terms as a national board member and has been actively involved in the Association over the past decade, including as a local pilot representative, magazine editor, trustee and Chair of the External Affairs Committee.
Like many pilots in Canada, Captain Russell began his flying career as a flight instructor and later a pilot in Northern Canada and overseas before being hired by Air Canada in 2007.
As Chairman, Captain Russell presided over board meetings and acted as the pilots' principal representative to Air Canada on employment matters, including negotiation and administration of their collective agreement and was the official spokesperson for ACPA.
The Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA) currently represents approximately 4,200 commercial pilots, with 600 previously furloughed during the COVID crisis all of whom have now returned to active status. These highly skilled professional pilots fly passengers and cargo across Canada and around the world on Air Canada and Air Canada rouge.
Gary resides on a farm in Comox, BC with his wife, Chantal, and son, Ben.
