Coming from mountainous Nepal was one of the most passionate and sustainability focused young persons, Sagar Koirala. Sagar wears many hats, alongside his role as the Regional Focus Point -Asia Pacific with the Sendai Children and Youth Group, dedicated to Disaster Risk Reduction initiatives. He has a powerful connection to the environment, having witnessed the degradation of his home village in Nepal whilst at school. Half the worlds GDP is reliant on nature, but how can we appreciate it if we don't know it's worth?

We were privileged to talk to Paula DiPerna, a renowned expert and leader in environmental strategy and carbon markets. Paula is a Special Advisor at the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), which is the leading organisation on global company environmental disclosure. She was also instrumental in establishing the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), the world's first cap-and-trade system, covering six greenhouse gases.

Paula recently wrote a book, 'Pricing the Priceless' exploring how science, policy and capital can transform how we value natural assets.
