Prior to joining the Australian Federal Police, Paul served for several years as a corporate security consultant, and close personal protection (Bodyguard) specialist for prominent corporations, and celebrities in Australia. He also served as a soldier in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) for 15 years and served on international deployment. During his twenty-five (25) years of military and law enforcement experience, he has had assignments in Counter Terrorism (CT), Protective Security Intelligence (PSI), Federal & International Investigations, High Risk Warrants, Operational Safety Training (OST), Learning & Development (L&D) as well as roles in management and administration.
