Two time Olivier nominee Fabian Aloise is back In The Frame!

Fabian is the co-director and choreographer of Kathy And Stella Solve A Murder which is about to open in the West End at the Ambassadors Theatre following two sold out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a tour.

He’s also preparing to make his Broadway debut as the choreographer of Sunset Boulevard starring Nicole Scherzinger and directed by Jamie Lloyd, having received an Olivier nomination for his work on the West End production which ran to huge acclaim at the Savoy Theatre.

Some of Fabian's recent work as a choreographer includes the first international non-replica production of Wicked in Hamberg, Germany, the London production of Bring It On, Cabaret in Paris, SpongeBob The Musical on tour and In Dreams in Leeds and Toronto.

Originally from Canada, Fabian trained as a ballet dancer in Melbourne, Australia but, after being told he wouldn’t make it as a ballet dancer, pursued a career in musical theatre.

As a performer, Fabian appeared in many shows including the West End productions of We Will Rock You and Legally Blonde. He went on to work as an assistant, associate and resident choreographer; he was the resident choreographer for the West End production of Matilda The Musical for five years.

Fabian then began working as a choreographer, with his early work including The View UpStairs at Soho Theatre, The Rink at Southwark Playhouse and Evita at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre directed by Jamie Lloyd, for which he received his first Olivier nomination.

Having done the fourth episode of In The Frame five years ago, Fabian is back to discuss all things Kathy & Stella and Sunset Boulevard, as well as how he feels about the evolution of musical theatre choreography, whether he wants to take on more directing work and the many different paths his career has taken him down so far.

Marley Fenton is currently starring as Danny Zuko in Grease.

Directed by Nikolai Foster and choreographed by Arlene Phillips, the musical is back on tour across the UK & Ireland following two West End runs.

After graduating from ArtsEd last year, Marley made his professional and West End debuts understudying the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz (London Palladium).

He went on to join the all-star cast of Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends (Gielgud Theatre) and is set to appear in the Wicked movie. Before joining Grease, Marley recently returned to The Wizard of Oz, this time playing the Tin Man on the musical’s tour.

S9 Ep21: Natalie Paris, Kit De Luca in Pretty Woman & original Jane Seymour in Six

Olivier nominee Natalie Paris is currently starring as Kit De Luca in Pretty Woman The Musical.

Following its hugely successful West End run, Pretty Woman is on its first UK & Ireland tour. The show is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell with music and lyrics by Bryan Adams.

Natalie started her career as a child, playing Young Cosette in the Wets End production of Les Misérables and Louise in Sunday in the Park with George at the Menier Chocolate Factory and cast recording. She was also in the West End productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Billy Elliot.

Natalie then spent time in the music world, performing countless gigs internationally.

She returned to theatre as an adult and originated the role of Jane Seymour in Six The Musical. Natalie was with the show from its initial Arts Theatre performances in 2017 and recorded the cast album, including her iconic rendition of "Heart Of Stone" which has been streamed over 38 million times on Spotify.

Natalie continued with Six through to its original UK tour, including a sell out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and West End run at the Arts, Lyric and Vaudeville theatres. She was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical in 2019 for her performance in Six, alongside the original queens.

After leaving the West End production at the end of 2021, Natalie returned to Six the following year to reunite with the original cast for three special performances at Hampton Court Palace and to film the show in the West End. Last year Natalie once again returned to Six, this time touring the US in the first North American Tour.

Some of her other theatre credits include: The Regulars (Hope Mill Theatre), Emojiland (Garrick Theatre) and No Limits (Turbine Theatre).

Jaina Brock-Patel is currently reprising her performance as Becky in Babies The Musical for its fully staged run at The Other Palace.

Jaina previously played the role in the musical's West End concert production at the Lyric Theatre. A new British coming-of-age musical, Babies has music and lyrics by Jack Godfrey and book by Martha Geelan.

After training at the Guildford School of Acting, Jaina made her professional debut as Katherine Howard in the UK & Ireland tour of Six The Musical. She went on to play Janey in the London revival of Eugenius! at the Turbibe Theatre.

Actor Christian Maynard is In The Frame!

After training at Urdang, Christian made his professional debut as Little Moe in Five Guys Named Moe (Upstairs at the Gatehouse). He went on to join the West End production of & Juliet as Kempe and the understudy for Francois (Shaftesbury Theatre).

Christian then landed the role of Chris in the highly antipcated UK revival of Miss Saigon (Sheffield Crucible) and went on to play Ben in Babies (Lyric Theatre), Kid Pop in Rehab (Neon 194) and Tyrone in Fame (Athens).
