13m · Automate Your Dream · 17 Oct 15:18

We’re going to talk about Free vs Paid information. Let’s face it…there are people who will only look for information they can get for free. There are those who will start on the free path, and then also pay for the information that provides the desired result they are looking for. When you get information for free, do you tend to take as much action as you would with info you paid for? Let’s dive in and chat about this. Send in your questions and thoughts on this subject as I feel we’ll be exploring this topic in more detail later on as a longer episode! Cheers! How To Minimize Brain Drain By Saving Time With Automated Outreach

Hey, there. Welcome back to the Automate Your Dream podcast. This is your host, David Anderson, and today's show is for my fellow wed the wedding industry partners out there and I share story on what led me to create a system that will basically allow me to have less brain drain when it comes to following up with emails leads that are coming in from wedding shows or wedding networks. So stay tuned. You might learn a thing or two and then also maybe start to reevaluate just some of the things that you do on a day to day basis. When it comes to getting everything done and simply what's on your plate, so hope you enjoy. And let's get to it. Did you know that that are millions of new ideas created every single day by a special group of people who call themselves entrepreneurs? More importantly, some of these ideas can literally change the world. But sadly, most of these ideas will never develop into what they were meant to be. Too many struggle with simply having enough money, time and energy to maintain the intentional focus required to nurture their ideas from concept to reality. If you've experienced that feeling of losing hope, you're not alone. That's why I created this podcast so we can talk about the tools and strategies that will help you improve your revenue, regain your time and energy so you can unlock the impact your dream was meant to have. My name is David Anderson, and welcome to the Automate Your Dream podcast. Hey, welcome back, guys. This conversation is going to be very much specific to my friends and the wedding industry, so if you're not in the wedding industry, you've got to just bear with me, but this can apply to a lot of different types of businesses once you once you understand what we're trying to achieve as far as the end result. So let me first give you the problem now. So I've been involved in the wedding industry for about the past. It's over ten years now. And years ago, I signed up to be a part of this wedding network where couples who are beginning their journey of planning their wedding, they get to sign up as subscribers to get access to the vendors that are part of this network. So think of it this way, literally anything that you can think of. To help you plan your wedding or if you think of the things that you need for a wedding, you can find within this network now as a vendor. You pay an annual subscription to be a part of this network as a vendor, and that gives you access to a list. But here's the thing about this list. This list is not simply a spreadsheet that's emailed to you. Like what is done after completing a wedding show, you're on a list to receive information or to receive the information of the leads. Who are the couples who are, you know, signing up for this list? Okay. So basically, every time someone signs up and becomes a new member of this wedding network and they need help in planning their wedding, whether it's looking for deejays or phone numbers, their floor is cake bakers or decorators or venues or officiant literally anything you can think, you know, party bus, limousine, you know, transportation, all those different things you can find as being a part of this network. Now, going back to being a vendor, so you receive emails periodically. Basically, any time someone subscribes to this network, you receive an email and the emails are formed in the same way. So the the email subject, you know, you see, you know, the name of the wedding network news, subscriber details inside of the email, you have a table basically of information most of the time. And it's e-mail, it's just information for one couple, for, you know, for one lead. Sometimes you have multiple for e-mail, but for the most part, it's, you know, for each subscriber that signs up generates an email that goes out to the entire network. Now, whether that's done manually or automated, not sure what matters is the point that as I'm going throughout my day to day life and, you know, developing and run

Motiv8 2021 Summit Recap

I just had an amazing experience on November 4-6th as we completed our first Motiv8 Summit from TheGo-Getterr Family! Even being a presenter, my world got rocked with the knowledge and information that I learned! I just wanted to hop on live real quick and talk about my experiences over the last three days as one of the members of the go-getter family and I know I have not been talking a lot about my role in this tell you what October just seemed to seem to melt into November. And I guess this is closing out the first week of November to the right so so anyway, so the go-getter family what is the go-getter family, so surrounded by Jean Boykin, and it's also made up of Levi Epps and a great for myself and Jean. He's the main driving force behind this. And he developed Seven Steps to Becoming the bank providing instruction, really just guiding principles. Again, going through these seven steps to where you can acquire real estate without having to go to the bank credit checks really paving the way for everyday people to have a chance at getting into real estate acquiring homes and making money right and doing that as a way of life and doing it in a way to where you're actually helping others and helping people get out of the situations. As he puts it, you know, go get your family, you know buys problems, right. Gene and I were connected by a great friend, who recently ran for city council. And from that happened from earlier this year. Those of you who have not been on my friend's list, I went oh gosh, what was it? April I want to say is when I started going live every morning right for 90 days straight until I lost my voice and what not and until I hit some certain goals who met he had been catching me on my lives and he's like, Hey, Dave, you got to you and Jean. I got only two left. And so that happened and Gene linked up with his awesome brother, Levi Epps from Nevada, and he teaches people how to get their credit right, and more and more. And so basically, the four of us got together and started, you know throwing deas together on the summit. So Jean wanted to make it happen. He wanted to make it happen quick, too. So he had set a date for November. And so yeah, that's what it was November 4 fifth and sixth, three days Summit, where the gene is able to teach go-getters, people who take action. And we had about 22 attendees for this first summit that he taught his target was 20 and then wanted to be huge sorry that your neck cut out there a little bit. But he didn't want to eat it didn't want it to be, you know, huge. Good, manageable number. And so yeah, that's what you did, and went through the seven steps over the three days. Ike who is a disk-certified speaker TEDx speaker as well, you can add that to his list. He provided a breakdown on what disk his personality says. And so then, you know, because that's important when you're building the team understand you know, it's important to know what your, what your personality traits are, aren't necessarily to say your strengths, weaknesses, but it helps you to understand, you know, your personality and the behaviors and how you operate on the outside of your natural environment. Right. So if you have a team and you understand each other's personality traits, then you can actually improve how you actually plan to work together, right? So there's, there's so much content so much that was delivered. So, you know, we produce the event ourselves as well. So we kind of wore a lot of different hats. So just making sure that you know, the attendees were having, you know, the best experience possible was something that was at the top of our priority list.
