A Sinking Ship

1m · 100 Language Poetry · 27 Jan 21:46

A sinking ship may swim a few more miles, But no one can determine the style it sinks. Do you think, untrue? However, one is certain: Geometry and gravitation can't be tricked, And every other version is a relict. A ship that lives in fear eats itself, and underestimates its people, will have to face the truth and hell, will have to meet the Reaper. A sinking ship may carry a captain And crew, it may shine bright, and cut The waves with grace, but once the lower docks are plight, there is no force to save the place. A ship divided, split in two, and three, And four, and five, and six, is not a Mix of cultures, no, my dear, It is a recipe for vultures, hopefully, I made it clear. The one who has the ears will hear.
