Leadership Monday Session 1

Early in my business adventure, self development and mindset were just by-products of meeting my ideas for what success looks like. Work hard, act ethically, take care of customers, and hire talented people. That formula for success worked…for awhile until my business grew, complexities arose, and my team multiplied. The old formula was inadequate to move forward. As a leader in your business, the gravity of ownership and your deficiencies become magnified. So how can we break free and set up on a path to more satisfying ownership? In this first chapter in our leadership series, we start at the top. We start with the boss, we start with the head honcho, we start with you. I’ll start with a simple question- How can you lead a team that produces incredible results until you first learn to lead yourself? To be sure, I struggle with this concept every day- Am I doing the right things, consistently, to produce the right results for my business? OR, am I jumping into a washing machine of administrative tasks and enduring the jostling and churn and confusion of the day?
