To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Hillsborough, football supporters will walk 265 miles continuously around 30 football stadia raising money for Alder Hey Children's Charity between April 18 and April 21, 2019. Some of the people taking part explain why they are doing this, what Hillsborough means to them and why Alder Hey is such a great cause.
The route is to in start in Nottingham and finish at Anfield, passing Hillsborough along the way. More details www.redwoodevents.co.uk

Thanks to funding from the Isle of Man Anti-Cancer Association, we have been able to run regular participatory music workshops on our Oncology Unit. Led by professional cellist Georgina Aasgaard, we have seen our children and young people take part in music making, song writing, learning to play a wide range of instruments such as keyboard and ukulele and performing alongside Georgina. Music has also been used to help them de-stress and relax. As a result, we have seen significant improvements to children and young people’s anxiety levels, confidence and resilience, which have helped the whole family when spending long periods of time in hospital.
