G'sta is a rapper/producer from New Orleans, LA. He's gained respect through the quality projects that he's released since the 90's, starting with "Misery" and "World of Syn" which developed a cult following internationally, then with "We Workin'", the full length album with Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, then with a host of projects throughout the 2000's including his "Classic Status" mixtape series, and now with his "Don't Shoot The Messenger" project, which is produced entirely by DJ Blaknificent. DJ Blaknificent is a DJ/producer from New Orleans, LA. He helped lay the foundation for what would become the New Orleans Hip-Hop scene, as well as the New Orleans Bounce music scene. On this episode, we start talking with DJ Blaknificent as he gives us some New Orleans music history.
