6. JLPT N4 〜〜かどうか

〜かどうか

 

[意味]

間接疑問文（かんせつぎもんぶん）

文の中に疑問詞（ぎもんし）を使っていない疑問文（ぎもんぶん）を埋め込ん（うめこん）で使う表現（ひょうげん）。

文の中にYesかNoで答えられる疑問文を埋め込んだ表現。

【例文】

・納豆は食べたことがないので、美味しいかどうかわかりません。

I've never eaten natto before, so I don't know if it's good or not.

 

・今夜のパーティーに行けるかどうか、まだわかりません。

I'm not sure if I can go to the party tonight.

 

・ビザが切れたら国へ帰るかどうか、まだ決めていません。

I haven't decided yet whether or not I will go back to my country after my visa is expired.

 

・新しい家を買うかどうか、見てから決めます。

I'll decide whether to buy a house or not after I see it.

5.　JLPT N4 Nがする!!

Nがする 

[意味]

音、声、味、匂い、香り、感じなど感覚を表したいときの言い方。

[英訳]

"can hear / see / smell etc (noun)."

Used to express the notion that the speaker can perceive a sound, voice, taste, smell, fragrance, or feeling.

[接続]

N + がします。

N + がする。

【例文】

・この部屋いい匂いがしますね。

There's a good smell in this room.

 

・キッチンから、にんにくの匂いがしてきます。

I can smell the garlic from the kitchen.

 

・隣の部屋から変な音がします。何の音だろう。

There's a strange sound coming from the next room. I wonder what it is.

・あ〜〜、昨日飲みすぎた。吐き気がするわ。

I drunk too much. I feel like I'm gonna throw up.

 

・なんか、ガンガンガンガン、上の階から音がする。うっせーなまじで。

4. JLPT N4 （疑問詞）〜か

[意味]

間接疑問文（かんせつぎもんぶん）

間接疑問文とは、文の中に疑問詞（いつ、どこで、だれが等）を使って疑問文を使う表現。 

文の中に疑問語（疑問詞）を使った疑問文を埋め込んで使う表現。

※難しいので、覚えなくてもOK! 下の例文をみて、イメージをしてみましょう！

疑問詞（ぎもんし）とは？

・何時に　What time

・いつ When

・誰が Who

・どこへ Where to

・どうやって How

・どうして Why

・どれが Which is

・何を What

3. JLPT N4 〜終わる

〜終わる 

[意味]

動作の終わりを表す。

[英訳]

"finish doing"

Indicates the end of an action.

[接続]

V（ます形）ます + 終わる

N4

【例文】 ・今日はもう勉強し終わったので、ゆっくり映画でも見ます。

I've finished studying today, so I'm going to watch a movie.

  ・作文が書き終わった人から帰ってもいいです。

The person who has finished writing the essay can go home first.

・DVDを見終わったので、TSUTAYAに返しに行きます。

I've finished watching the DVD, so I'm going to return it to TSUTAYA.

 【ポイント】

自然現象や生理現象には使うことができない。

自然現象　natural phenomenon　例えば、降る、吹く

生理現象　physiological phenomenon　例えば、泣く、笑う　には使えない。

このような場合には「～止む（やむ）」を使います。

例：雨が降り終わる。　×

　　雨が降り止む。○

 赤ん坊が泣き終わる。×

　　赤ん坊が泣き止む。○

・食べ終わったら、ちゃんと洗い物してね。わかった？返事は？　

・準備し終わったらさ、ラーメン行こうよ！今日は、家系が食べたい気分だわ。

【単語】

・映画. Movie

・家系 fatty pork-soy-sauce flavored soup

・洗い物　Do the dishes

※動詞は「する」

・あとで、洗い物をする。

・使い方：

・日本に住んでいる間に一度でいいから富士山に登ってみたいです。

・夏休みの間に、沖縄に行きたいです。

・暇な間に、日本語の文法を勉強しておきます。

 ※まじで終わってるわ。= 最悪だ、どうなっているんだ、どうしようもない。という感情の時に使うスラングです。
