#34 Caswell Cooke: Candidate for RI Senate District 38 2022

Mr. Cooke is a Realtor, a Town Councilor, Executive Director of the Misquamicut Business Association, an author, a filmmaker, a talk show host, small business owner, a dj, and he's in a band.

Back in 1999 when he was 25, he was privileged to ride on the “Straight Talk Express” with then presidential candidate Sen. John McCain. Caswell had asked to do an interview with my TV show and his people said yes. Mr. Cooke then sat with him and he told me that he was running for office to “inspire a younger generation of Americans to commit themselves to causes greater than their own self interest and to reform government.” And he told Caswell that if he wanted to do the same he needed to run for local office. Then in 2002 he did so, and was elected at age 28 to the Westerly Town Council. Caswell still feels the same passion today as he felt 20 years ago and he thinks our great state needs help now more than ever.
