What I Learned About My Podcast in Season One

9m · Be Yourself. Be Free! · 30 Sep 01:56

It's the last episode of Season I, and here's what I learned about my podcast so far.

First off, I launched this podcast because one of my mentors suggested it. I knew that I wanted to have a podcast because of the reach and international visibility you can gain as a business owner. It's the main reason why most of my clients launch a podcast.

However, when I started recording episodes with my guests, it became about something more. I looked forward to recording days and helping my guests, who most had never been on a podcast before, get acquainted with the gear, and then we'd do a warm-up session and get going.

Getting to know them and conversing with others in the online business space was such a rewarding experience.

I'm happy to have you! I learned that I have people tuning in from Venezuela, Spain, United States, and Iran. How cool is that?

The following season is already in pre-production, and you can expect the next episode to post on October 26th. It's going to be a scary one so you won't want to miss it.

If you sign up for my newsletter, you will get a reminder of when the episodes are out.

What's new for season two:

  • The episodes will be available on YouTube
  • Fewer interviews (as you requested) and more solo episodes
  • I'll be posting on Tuesdays

PS. You can catch the video of this episode on YouTube too!

It would make me the happiest podcaster in the world if you'd leave me a review on Apple Podcasts.

Holidays: Reflections of a First Generation American, ME

Holidays can be overwhelming with feelings of joy or despair.

You might be happy to see relatives or you might not. I only have my brother who lives in Florida and who I won't be seeing these holidays. Other than my spouse and my son, that's it for me. I'm thankful for them, but somehow I still wish I had an extended family to enjoy the holidays with.

What do you have planned for the holidays?

Are you a first generation in this country or another? What traditions do you and your family uphold?
