RICHARD MARX: "Songwriter"

29m · LOVE SOMEONE with Delilah · 18 Oct 07:00

The last guest I had in my recording studio before the Covid curtain fell, was the insanely talented and twice as charismatic, Richard Marx. That was waaaay back in January of 2020, and today we're finally getting another chance to get caught up with one another.

Richard has a new TWENTY TRACK album out, "Songwriter" that features 5 tracks from 4 different genres, pop, rock, country, and ballads. We'll get some inside info on how it all came together, as well as what it's like collaborating with Richard's talented trio of sons he fondly refers to as "the Marx brothers". You'll love every minute of our conversation - come on in! ~ Delilah

LEANNE MORGAN: Encore!

Leanne Morgan may be just getting started... but I think this conversation that we had back in September, deserves an encore!

Since we chatted, Leanne has become an even hotter commodity! She's wrapped up a movie with Reese Witherspoon and Will Farrell, called, "You're Cordially Invited", has landed a sitcom with legendary writer-producer Chuck Lorre, and she's written a book entitled, "What In The World", that will be my monthly book club pick very shortly.

It seems Leanne is everywhere these days, and I just wanted to throw back to a few months ago when she was right here with us. Enjoy! ~ Delilah

LUKE SMALLBONE: "UNSUNG HERO"

What a delightful conversation Luke Smallbone and I had today! This charming half of the musical duo, for KING & COUNTRY is sharing some inside info on the movie, UNSUNG HERO, out now, about his musical family and their decision to move from Australia to the US on little more than a wing and a prayer.

Life was challenging for the Smallbone's and their 7 children, but a mother's love and strong faith carried them through the storms, helping them to find the joy, and the immense talent, within.

Luke co-produces and brother, Joel, who makes up the other half of for KING + COUNTRY, portrays their father in the film. All family members have cameos including another famous sister, Rebecca St. James! Get comfy and join us for a lovely chat. (And if you haven't already, go see UNSUNG HERO!)

NICK WINTON, JR.: "One Life"

Sir Nicholas 'Nicky' Winton was a young London stockbroker who visited Prague in December of 1938 where he discovers a large population of refugees fleeing the Nazis - and he knew he must do something, at least for the children.

Back in London, Nick spent months arranging for foster families, passports, and documentation that would usher hundreds of children to safety... 669 children! 50 years later his story came to light in a remarkable way. Nick Winton lived his 106 years humbly, with the idea that service to others isn't a calling, it's simply what one does.

Today, his son, Nick Winton, Jr., a soft-spoken, compassionate, storyteller joins us to talk about his dad and the film "One Life", starring Sir Anthony Hopkins, that is in theaters now. You'll be so moved! ~ Delilah
