Writer/Director Frank Sommers

Welcome to the Creative Side Up Podcast with Tim Olsen. This is the show where we unpack creative minds. Today, my guest is Writer and Director Frank Sommers. From creating kids Poetry, to writing Country Music, to writing full length Feature Scripts for both Stage and Screen, Frank is constantly creating. He challenges himself to create material with high standards that can push his career forward. We talk about how he was able to write, direct, and collaborate on his first feature independent film. He shares his experiences working behind the scenes writing live theatre for notable Broadway talent. As an artist, Frank loves exploring different genres within the Performing Arts. He has just written a Broadway adaptation of a film by the same name, The Englishman Who Went up a Hill but Came down a Mountain.

Singer/Bass Player - Dan Sutter

Welcome to the Creative Side Up Podcast with Tim Olsen. This is the show where we unpack creative minds. Today, my guest is Singer and Bass Player Dan Sutter. We have a great conversation about Dan's musical upbringing. He has always been influenced by great music and has always had a passion for performing. Dan has been a part of several bands that have through the years experienced success in playing on the radio, selling out shows, touring the country, and recording on vinyl. No matter where he's performed, it's always a show. Bringing it all back to family, he now performs with his brother, singing familiar tunes of yesterday.

Check out this track he recorded in the early 1970s with a band he toured with called Spot and Blotters, from Al Green's Producer Palmer James.
