165: Insider's Guide To The Bay Area Pet Fair: Michael Murray, Pet Food Express
Mike Murray, Director of Community Outreach for Pet Food Express and the person in charge of the Bay Area Pet Fair, is our talented guest today. The Bay Area Pet Fair is the largest animal rescue event of its kind on the West Coast of the United States, and very likely the whole country (and possibly the entire solar system?). We discuss last year’s extremely successful event and what to look forward to this year.
Saturday and Sunday, September 15 and 16, 2018. Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, California. 10:00am to 5:00pm. Free admission and parking.
Last year, there were over 140,000 animal lovers in two days looking for a wonderful new companion. Around 1,500 adoptions!
Great live music, delicious food, Splash Dogs, Police K-9 demos, even Jackson Galaxy from My Cat From Hell! Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, rodents, and you may even spot a miniature horse rescue.
