Creating Health, Your Way.

51m · Success Differently · 27 Oct 14:48

Amy developed her company, A Miraculous You Health & Wellness, to offer customized options to those looking to better themselves and have accountability for the goals they wanted. She has been successful at transforming people’s lives by offering a different approach. The definition of health is different for each individual and she helps people discover what that is and how to become what it means to them.

She focuses on slow, manageable, lifestyle improvements instead of a typical cookie-cutter plan, which only forces change temporarily. She lost over 65 pounds and 25 inches this way. However, what changed even more so was her mindset and overall look on life and how important it is to stay healthy, both physically and mentally. She truly enjoys being a coach and helping others figure out what healthy means to them, why it’s important, and how to maintain it.

In this episode:

  • Misconceptions about health coaching
  • Why it should be customized for you, individually.
  • Getting off the comparison shame wagon.
  • How to feel better and further your wellness, right now.
  • How to handle days that don’t go exactly as planned.

Plus And how to trick your brain into feeling better in any moment.

As a shy, awkward teenager (think black clothes and permed 80's hair visible in your peripheral), Kristin Bock became an avid people watcher. This led to her graduating with a Psychology degree with a minor in Art because after all, it went along with her fascination with humans AND all of her black fashion. After 25+ years in non-profit, she has built her expertise in training and body language coaching. With these superpowers, she partners with leaders and educators to improve their self-awareness and interactions with others.

Risk Advising: Are You Covered? How to make sure you are actually covered when things go wrong

Such a fantastic conversation about making sure you're covered in the event of an unfortunate event. Its so often something people look at as “what’s the minimum I can get by with” as oppose to “How do I make sure that in any situation, I have some peace of mind”.

In this episode we talk about:

Understanding the importance of having an agent who cares about you, listens and asks the questions.

Understanding what’s covered and not, and how to make sure even things like the loss of a key employee is covered.

Protecting yourself from the unexpected, things happen you never would expect, how do you make sure your business doesn’t fail at the expense of an unexpected event.

And 3 things to look for in a great agent (as oppose to a less than great agent, or a 1-800 number)
