The Pipeman interviews Kelly Deco. The Pipeman talks about the music he grew up with and how it started by listening to his older brother’s music and how it lead to today. They think back about their times at the Sunset strip back in the 80’s. Kelly talks about how he has kept the old Rock vibes from the 70’s which he now calls the Victorian Futurism.
Most importantly, Kelly talks about the new album Constellation and all the people involved in the project thanking them all. He is amazed by the production and working with Val Garay. Kelly feels this is his best album ever based on multiple things including taking life experiences and telling stories, He also talks about how he came up with the music first and then wrote the lyrics while taking a futuristic journey listening to the music and it just came to him.
THE KELLY DECO BAND RETURNS WITH THE RETRO-FUTURISTIC ‘CONSTELLATION’
The Kelly Deco Band return with their latest album, ‘Constellation.’ Hailing from California, the band’s leader describes his music as “Retro-futuristic, rock, love, and fantasy. Songs with a mix of old 70s rock and futuristic spins on Bowie, Meatloaf, Anthony Newley, and Love.”
Deco also points out that legendary Producer & Grammy Winner Val Garay “really delivered that 70’s sound we wanted, and he invented.” And concerning standout tracks, he said, “Check out ‘Destination Fascination,’ ‘Automat Girl,’ and ‘Waiting for the Girl, ‘Take the Red Pill,’ and ‘Creature Dream.’ ‘Automat Girl’ is a great sounding 70’s riff on a classic Edward Hopper painting of the same name, where we finally understand what’s happening there. I love the paintings of Edward Hopper, and With ‘Automat Girl,’ I really feel the excitement of running away through the streets of NYC with the girl of my dreams and nothing but the night and the stars above.”

PipemanRadio Interviews The Offering
On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to The Offering who have some awesome new music with a really great message they want to share with us on the show today.
Pipeman starts by talking about how he has been saying for a long time that the hippies have turned into the boomers. The guys talk about the origins of the songs and dealing with their parents who are boomers themselves. They also discuss what happened to the punks and when did they turn pro government? Pipeman tells a story of how his ex was struggling to take a video on her phone and his reply was you’re such a boomer.
Pipeman goes on to talk about his kids who are so different, with two of them born in the 80’s and two of them born in the 90’s. He says the two sets of kids are so different, with the older ones being like Pipeman, but the younger ones not being able to relate to them at all. He also discusses how he realized the difference between millennials and Gen X in a work place environment and how Gen X is motivated by making a difference rather than making a buck.
A little later on, Pipeman brings it back to the guys music and how this new album is an evolution of their music. He compares it to Hatfield of Metallica and how he hated his voice when he listened back to their earlier stuff, but he respects bands being able to evolve when often times the fans don’t want them to. The guys talk about how much your physical body changes affect your music and how fans often times fault a band for changing their sound. They also touch on the snobbishness of the metal industry and how much metal is going to lose when Ozzy passes away due to the torch not being passed on.
Pipeman touches on how one of the band members fathers passed away recently, but fortunately, managed to hear the album before he passed. He talks about how his father loved the music and said it was the best music of 2022. He touches on how lively his father was talking about it and it made it really special for him.

American progressive metal quartet, The Offering, a band conceived during chaos of extreme times over the past couple years.
The Offering has a new release coming out on November 4th titled "Seeing the Elephant". This experimental collection of 10 tracks forms a rich and adventurous undertone, combined with heartfelt depth within the songcraft.
The strong political undertones, in combination with the integration of those experimental processes, lead to this accomplishing our goal of making something that felt similar to that of a journalistic war photographer account.
The album intimately connects the accomplished song-master to his cancer-stricken father. There are inflection points throughout Seeing the Elephant, but “Tipless” and “My Heroine”—featuring Indian Classical players Purna Prasad and Shuba Gunapu on the mridangam and veena, respectively—are especially poignant.
We finished the album a week before my dad passed away, not before he could listen to it. He told me it was the greatest album he’d ever heard from me. I think so, too.”

“The one thing I wanted to do differently with this album was to make it feel more like a home-grown effort,” Nishad says. “I roped in one of my best friends from this journey, Zach Weeks of God City Studios, to help with the engineering. Zach is one of the most intelligent engineers in music right now—Kurt Ballou hand-picked him to God City Studios for a reason. He’s got an incredible gift and passion for dissecting sounds. I would say that all of my mechanics as a producer came from the things I learned hanging out with him as a teen, so naturally, no one understood my engineering language and workflow better than Zach. Having him on the project felt like an extension—a fifth member—of THE OFFERING.”

The Pipeman interviews Weapons of Anew about going through Hurricane Nicole and how he’s trying to get used to Florida’s weather. They also talk about how they found their sound and how they have grown as a band.
Weapons Of Anew: Art of War
Hard Rock outfit Weapons of Anew released their new song “Break The Ties” to all major platforms. It will be the first song released with new members, singer Richie Hume and drummer Lun’iah Fontana. The new song is the first to be released from the forthcoming 2023 release, The Art of War.
This was the first song written for The Art of War. It came about as guitarist Freddy Ordine and Logan Mader (Machine Head, Once Human) hit it off while on tour together. WOA were auditioning producers and Freddy, a huge fan of early Machine Head material, invited Logan to spend time at their studio.
"I couldn't be happier with how this song came together and turned out,” exclaims Ordine. "It had our New York attitude and Logan's west coast vibe. We really nailed the direction I wanted to take Weapons in!! Logan was just amazing to work with!!!!”
“Break The Ties” is about cutting away the bad and being in a more together space with everything. "It's crazy to me that a year after this song was written, [bassist] Reno and I moved to Florida and rebuilt Weapons,” adds Ordine. "I guess subconsciousness is a mother f*cker!!! Had we only known or listened sooner!!!"
This Tampa-based hard rock outfit, originally from New Jersey, released their debut, The Collision of Love and Hate, in 2017 and toured heavily to support it, including opening for Scott Stapp, Alterbridge and Tesla. WOA recorded a second album for release in 2020, with the first song released, being a cover of The Chainsmokers “Sick Boy” dropping in September 2020, reaching #25 on Billboard Active Rock, #18 Billboard Indicator and #27 Mediabase Active Rock.
It currently has 1.2 million streams. The release was delayed due to COVID and in mid-2021 WOA made their personnel changes and re-recorded the songs for The Art of War.
