Ed Rigsbee is an author, speaker, and executive director of a charity he co-founded. He conducts business in three key areas: association management, services for professional speakers, and services for associations/societies.
Ed has been a professional speaker for over 30 years. He learned early that he had to find the right decision maker and then sell himself to the associations that were looking for a speaker for their meeting. He now helps other speakers find their ideal clients and book speaking engagements.
He has combined materials from his “Selling to Associations” website along with other previously prepared training programs to create a place for speakers called the Association & Society Speakers Community (ASSC).
Ed’s tips for budding speakers to be more successful include being specific in what areas you want to work and then drill down on the important associations and societies in a general area of the country that you can research to discover the types of meetings they hold and contact information.

Isoken Ogbomo Helps Family Caregivers

Due to shortened stays (demanded by insurance companies) in an expensive hospital a study completed in 2020 showed that 41.4 percent of elderly Americans discharged from a hospital, required readmittance for further treatment within seven days. There is no way the patient can recover in a timely manner through “in home care therapy” alone so the patient will medically decline and get readmitted to the hospital while the family caregiver is stressed, losing time from work, and getting ill from the stress of caregiving. In this podcast Isoken explains her program that is focused on improving overall health and managing symptoms to avoid a return trip to the emergency room, or hospital.
