Cindy Miller - Cindy Miller Public Relations

In today’s episode, I interview Cindy Miller, Principal at Cindy Miller Public Relations. Her career in communications and public relations has given her exposure to many industries and issues, which has led to a level of experience she can draw from to address new challenges.

She started with an ad agency in Milwaukee where she was able to write copy, edit scripts, coordinate video shoots, and observe and learn from the best creative minds in the business. Regardless of the jobs she had, the highlights have always been telling the story. At Southern California Orthotics and Prosthetics, she was able to share the story of a man who was able to walk after years of immobility due to a motorcycle accident.  She also had her fair share of addressing tough issues like student safety at Indiana University, or how farmers treat their animals on dairies. Some would like to think that PR is all about sharing good news, but sometimes you have to face hard topics head-on. Through it all - each challenge was met with thoughtful planning and execution -- all in the name of educating, informing, and communicating to the public.
