Recognizing that these categories of immigrants are vast and varied in origin and cultural traditions, host Capri Cafaro welcomes two guests who aim to share a snapshot of how these diverse ethnic groups impacted the way we eat in the American Midwest. Capri's guests are Jeff Miller , Associate Professor at Colorado State University and Ellen Steinberg, author of From The Jewish Heartland: Two Centuries of Midwest Foodways

As an Iowa Storyteller, Darcy believes anyone who eats has a connection to the things she’s passionate about, including food, farming, and history. Darcy writes about the food-to-fork connection for clients through her non-fiction books, including “A Culinary History of Iowa”, “Classic Restaurants of Des Moines and Their Recipes,” and "Iowa Agriculture: A History of Farming, Family and Food."
