Hello and welcome to the job hunter podcast, your one stop shop for careers insights into some of Britain’s most obscure and interesting professions.
Our next guest is integral in the production of one of the UK’s most staple products, it’s known to cause fights all across the land over it’s price and particular taste, stay tuned to find out what the heck we’re on about.
This week we are going to be discussing one of Britain’s most beloved beverages, beer. And how exactly millions of gallons of the stuff get transformed from the acres of golden grain we see in our fields into the liquid amber that flows from the taps of our pubs.
It’s my pleasure to welcome Appo Young, Process Engineer at Carlsberg. And if carlsberg did podcasts, They’d probably be the best podcasts in the world, well nearly the best except from us of course.

We welcome Richard Cutland to the show, 30 year veteran of the British army and now head of military relations Europe for online game developer and publisher Wargaming.net
Richard is a A 30-year veteran of the British Army serving with the Royal Tank Regiment on predominately Main Battle Tanks. Deployed on numerous Operational Tours including the Gulf War and has worked with many of the worlds Armed Forces.
He also spent two years as a Gunnery Instructor teaching new Tank Commanders and overseas students whilst running live firing ranges in the UK and Germany. Being passionate about military history, he later taught Armoured Tactics and worked closely with the General Staffs Briefing Team, headed at that time by General Sir Mike Jackson.
Richard joined Wargaming.net in 2012. Wargaming is an award-winning online game developer and publisher
