Before there was JFK and RFK, there was the man who founded an American political dynasty: Joseph P. Kennedy. Susan Ronald's new book The Ambassador traces his rise to power and riches, focusing on his years as U.S. Ambassador to Britain in the days leading up to the Second World War.
