Episode 12 introduces us to Jessie Kwak! Freelance writer, author of supernatural and sci-fi fiction AND ladyboss business owner. What's it like trying to balance work and creative endeavors? This week on episode 11, we talk with our friend Taylor Sizemore. Taylor is a designer, entrepreneur, artist and member of the growing anti algorithm "art movement". We talk business, design, SUCCESS, and what it's like working on (and designing!) a multi million dollar film set. Taylor also gives us an assignment to help us make connections with people that inspire us.

This week on Episode 6 of “So, What Are You Working On?” we talk with Allegra Oxborough and Grant Cutler. Allegra is a director, and the founder and owner of AERO, a woman-owned production company. Grant is a composer and artist. Together, they’ve worked on dozens of visionary projects. Collaboration? Filmmaking? Feminism? Money? The future? Yeah, we talk about it.

On episode 5 we feature Nishat Akhtar. Nishat is a badass designer, an inspired teacher, a sports enthusiast and a self-professed “sugar daddy” of her own creative career. We cover some amazing topics this week including time, money, gender, humor, and the fallacy of “following your dreams”. 

This week, we talk with our good friend Benjamin Roth. Ben is a musician, songwriter, union man, boom operator, cyclist, and among other things... an A++ person. He shares his experiences as a touring musician and gives us some tips on how to get out of an artistic rut. 

On episode 3, we talk with Hallie Bateman, Illustwriter (illustrator and writer) extraordinaire, fearless drawer and drinker of smoothies. She tells us about what motivated her to become a freelancer, shares her take on collaboration, and gives us an assignment that loosens rusty drawing skills and improves our awareness of the world around us.
