The other night I stopped by Outrun The Fall band practice to catch up with Brandon, Ryan & Josh of the group. We recorded this the night before the new single "The Rattler" was released so it was exciting to caputre some of their thoughts before it goes live all over the world. A while back I linked up with singer songwriter Joe Robinson to talk about his music JJR Band. Recently he reached out to tell me about some work he'd been doing in his new recording studio and a talented young songwriter he was recording named Damon. I stopped in to visit Joe at his studio to meet up with Damon and his bandmate Ness Holiday. We had some fun talking about how these three all meet, their individual music and some of the new music they are collaborating to make and we get a sneak peek at Damon's debut EP. We also busted out a few guitars and did some live acoustic versions of some new songs these guys are working on!

Last Friday evening I clocked out after a working all week, ran home and grabbed my microphone then headed East to Copper Fire in Belleville, IL to meet up with Miranda Bury. Miranda is a very talented singer songwriter and is gearing up to release her debut album! We set and talked about the album, a bit of her early days, her family, stories behind some of these songs and much more!

After recording, I spent the rest of the evening enjoying Miranda's show to a packed house at Copper Fire. It was a great time! She played a nice mix of originals & covers, some 90[s country mixed with some of your favorite pop hits. Come see her LIVE:

Friday April 28th I took a ride downtown to see my buddies in Russo & Co headline their first St.Louis show at The Hawthorn with support from Mark Perkins & Redemption River.
