Rachel Peake is a director and dramaturge of theatre and opera, and is the Artistic Director of the Grand Theatre in London, Ontario. From 2017-2020 she was the Associate Artistic Director of the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton where she led the Citadel's new play development initiatives. Her work has taken her across Canada from Corner Brook Newfoundland to Victoria, BC. Rachel is the recipient of three Jessie Richardson Awards, an Ovation Award, and a Betty Mitchell Award nomination. She is a graduate of Studio 58 and the University of Alberta.

Twelve years ago, Martyna Pastuszka founded and has since artistically led the {oh!} Orkiestra, specializing in a repertoire from Baroque to late Romanticism. In addition to purely instrumental music, Martyna has a particular interest in baroque and classical opera. As a concertmaster and conductor/violinist, she collaborates with top European ensembles operating within the Historcally Informed Performance Practice movement.

She leads a class on historical violins at the Academy of Music in Katowice (Poland), and is invited as a lecturer for summer courses in early music. Privately, she is the mother of Feliks and Gustaw, living in the countryside with her husband Adam.

Recently relocating back to Las Vegas, Josh Selander most recently spent the last eight years teaching Lighting Technology, Design and Programing at University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Prior to arriving at UNCSA, Selander was based in Las Vegas working for ETC. Primarily supporting entertainment venues in Las Vegas, Selander also traveled the world supporting the Eos Product Line. He shifted to programming for various shows, including multiple Broadway National Tours and Cirque du Soleil productions. Selander also spends much of his time working in the themed entertainment market, designing and programming brand experiences including The Henry Ford, Kennedy Space Center, Museum of the Bible and The Great Wolf Lodge. Selander is the Lighting Designer and programmer for multiple shows under Criss Angel’s brand, including Mindfreak, RAW and a joint venture with Dragone, Amystika. Selander most recently designed Dragone’s show in Riyadh, Terhal, a cultural experience in Saudi Arabia. Currently Selander is designing and programming various immersive brand experiences throughout the US.

Episode 206: Dancing Across Cultures with Helena De Graeve (Audio)

Helena De Graeve is a 27-year old dancer, dance teacher and choreographer, born and raised in Zulte, Belgium. At a young age, Helena was part of the national rhythmic gymnastics team in Belgium and took part in several World Cups and the European Games in Bremen in 2010. After finishing her bachelor of education in dance at Codarts Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Helena joined a contemporary company named Chrysalis by Jodie Blemings in London. In 2019 she moved to Macau to join the cast of The House of Dancing Water from Dragone as a dancer. The pandemic forced her to focus on her work as a teacher and choreographer and she improved her skills as a performing artist. She joined a project in Ibiza named Alien/Animus Omnis by Manumisson and played in the large scaled spectacle musical The Red Star Line in Belgium. She is currently on tour with The Little Prince of Anne Tournie and Chris Mouron where she plays the role of the Rose.
