Newspapers are near their extinction point! Journalistic mediums are changing rapidly for name, fame and money. Ethics of showing reality are now getting contaminated with the unsuppressable desire of giving opinions. Everyone is running behind these changes, 138 crore people, even journalists, even Avinash. But Nusrat is adamant about his principles. He is watching every single bit of destruction of that demolishing fourth pillar and trying hard to stop it, but time is also playing with the ethics of journalism now. One news story changes all the calculations of Nusrat's and Avinash's world.

Kal Ki Sahafat will poetically unfold the story of these worlds and journalistic changes they are facing.
