Welcome to the second episode of Ripples in Space hosted by the Yadkin County Public Library.  Each month we review a new science fiction book and discuss major scientific concepts used throughout the story.   For this episode, we are reviewing All Our Wrong Todays by Elan Mastai.

In this week's story, we meet our aimless protagonist Tom Barren who lives in a futuristic world, unlike ours.  Technological advancements have solved all the world's problems. It’s a utopia.  Yet Tom is not satisfied.  Through some twists and sad turn of events, Tom takes an extremely unprepared leap with a time machine to change the past.  The changing of the past brings forth a present Tom was not expecting.  This is a story about the complexities of family, of unexpected journeys and the messiness and wonder of love.

Welcome to the next episode of Cozy on up in NC Cardinal! Each episode is a journey through a Cozy Mystery theme or author available in NC Cardinal. We had a great talk with debut novelist Brian Lebeau as he explained the rich detail in his book, his literary influences, his amazing in-depth research and life experiences, and his future projects! We covered everything from baseball to serial killers, and had an excellent discussion of America in the 1970s and how that social and cultural context will be used in this series. His novel *A Disturbing Nature* is book 1 of 4 (we are first library in NC Cardinal to have a copy!), with book #2 coming out in Oct 2023.
