Megan O'Neill: Are Your Beliefs About Work Causing an Income Roller Coaster?

16m · Published 02 Aug 14:39

"You need to work hard to achieve real success" is said repeatedly by men like Gary Varanchuk and other big-time entrepreneurs. Yet I read in a recent article that “Some 79 percent of men said they have had a positive work-from-home experience during the pandemic, compared with just 37 percent of women.”. So it's no wonder that I have to work on so many limiting beliefs with women clients.

In this episode, I talk about work beliefs and how they stop women dead in their tracks on the journey to a bigger, more successful business.

Understand the origin of our beliefs and how to discover whether yours are holding you back from creating the business of your dreams.

Andrea Henry: Practicing Law The Way She Loves.

54m · Published 06 Jun 17:43

"The more I listen to myself, the more money I make."

In my recent episode, which was packed with mindset goodies, I got the opportunity to sit down with my friend Andrea Henry, a Cambridge-educated lawyer with more than a decade of experience working with businesses of all sizes and at every stage of the entrepreneurial journey.

She started Henry Business Law to help ambitious entrepreneurs enjoy the exhilaration of growing confident that they have the proper legal protections in place. She has been through many personal ups and downs. She broke up with her legal partner just as she was diagnosed with stage two cancer and the breakdown of her marriage.

Andrea is an inspiration and what I would call a 'wise owl,' I walked away understanding aspects of business not traditionally shared between women.

Learn:

-How she teaches women the importance of professional services to the growth of their business.

-How to avoid messy and financially disastrous business partnerships.

-How to listen to yourself and create an authentic business for you, where you can make money as well.
