Swapping Theatre Stories and Some Voice Over Stuff With Quinn Angell

On this week's episode of Diary of an Unemployed Actor, I am speaking with Quinn Angell. 

Quinn Angell grew up in the Dallas Fort Worth area not really interested in acting, but that changed when his stepfather came into his life. Quinn started acting when he was a teenager, then studied Theatre and History at the University of North Texas. During his time in college, he began doing voiceover work at Funimation Entertainment. Through his time, he played roles in different anime dubs, such as Golden Kamuy, Akashic Records, Black Clover, ID: Invaded, Taboo Tattoo, and Knights and Magic. He also played background voices in shows like One Piece, Clockwork Planet, How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord, and others. Now, he acts in voiceover, on-camera and writes when he can.

The New York Actors Experience With Caitlyn Piccirillo

Caitlyn Piccirillo is a New York based actress and singer. She received a BFA (Acting) from Adelphi University, and a MA (Theatre) from CUNY Hunter College. Recent (pre-COVID) credits include “Ragtime” (Ensemble) with Village Light Opera Group, and “Home” (Mortimer/ Puppeteer) with Evolve Puppets.  Some of her favorite quarantine Zoom readings have included: “Dance Nation” (Brittany), “The Music Man” (Marian), “The Little Mermaid” (Ursula), “The Wild Party” (Kate), and “Guys and Dolls” (Sarah Brown).  Caitlyn now lives in New York City, with her partner, her books, and her cats. She is currently auditioning for projects as well as freelancing as a SFX makeup artist, production assistant, and dramaturg for different projects.

It's Never Too Late To Start Doing What You Love With Paul E. Kandarian

At the age of 55, Paul E. Kandarian audition for his first stage production, and with no experience was cast as the lead. He is now a full-time actor, having performed in dozens of films, short and long, TV commercials, industrial videos, educational videos, and theatre productions. He is also a career-long writer, working in newspapers since 1982 and still doing magazine writing and travel pieces.
