Caffeinated is a documentary film about the coffee industry, which provides a glimpse from the farmers to the consumer. From seed to cup and baristas, the two filmmakers Hanh Nguyen and Vishal Solanki capture the essence of coffee by traveling to the farmers in South America. As written on their website " From seed to mug, coffee, and the process by which it is created, has shaped the lives of thousands of individuals worldwide. Working with Geoff Watts, famous green-buyer, the filmmakers travel to America’s most populous coffee-drinking cities and to producing countries, interviewing connoisseurs and farmers alike. " this interview is to discuss about the process of their film, lesson learnt and much more.

This interview is with Taggart Siegel and Jon Betz. It was a discussion about the film making process, the importance of Seeds and seed keepers, and how regulations affects farmers and growers. From India to Mexico, the film is about the vital role seed keepers play in this agricultural space and how agribusiness is transforming the farmers lives.
