Life expectancy in the US is 78.5 years

10,000 hour rule? 

8 Hours a day in school for 6 months a year turns is 1,440 Hours. Conventional school requires students to complete 14 years of school which comes to 20,160 hours. 

8 Hours a day in school for 9 months a year turns into 2,160 Hours. Conventional School require students to complete 14 years of school which comes to 30,240 Hours. 

After going through conventional school where you are taught to live in the 8 Hour a day work system you will probably work a 9-5 job if you don’t make a change. Monday through Friday for 52 Weeks is 260 days. 260 Work Days each year. 8 hours each day. 2080 hours each year at work. 

If you work a 9-5 from ages 18-65 you will spend 47 years at work. 

97,760 hours at work for 47 years.
