People who desire to pursue a career in law always have a terrible start. Expenses to law school can make them hesitate, thus choosing a non-law degree to get an easy job. After graduating with a non-law degree and earning money, people with enthusiasm to the law field start to aim for it. Is having excellent memorization skills enough to succeed in this field? Shifting to the law career from a non-law job can be challenging and complicated, but it is not as impossible as most people thought it would be. In today’s episode, Jodie sits down with Dave Des Rochers and starts talking about the success of all his career choices before he became who he is today. However, Dave explains that while he admitted that he was good at it, he wasn’t happy at all. Dave wishes to focus on his career nowadays: helping teens determine the path they truly want to take. While there is a common belief that “success doesn’t always breed happiness,” Dave still believes that it’s 100% possible to have both, as long as you know and are sure of the things you want to do in life. Personality, plus knowing what you’re good at, will always be a good determinant of career choices.

Many would not think becoming a Doctor is easy but if you are interested in any medical field as your career, this episode is a must.

However, there are ways in which you can start talking seriously about the things that matter by changing your approach. Jodi then tells her listeners about thought-provoking questions that can help the children think thoroughly and being an observant parent so you know how to start the conversation. Also, she says that it helps to remove all judgments and assumptions so that the child can freely express himself/herself to you without restrictions. Learning how to converse with your child can be a difficult task, but it also isn’t impossible.

The thing is, Jesse believes that no matter what you do, desire overrides everything-- from the opinions to the doubts of the people around you. Every person longing for a fruitful and engaging career can help map out his progress using a career guide. This guide is formulated through four steps. First is assessing personal values as realizing the expectations of others as well as what one puts on himself. Second is evaluating one's skills and honing practical skills to become useful in targeting one's chosen career path. Next is focusing on one's interest, and finally, formulating a career guide is also about focusing on the person’s strengths. It’s realizing what one is good at and how one could use this as an advantage to his chosen career path.
