Tulsa native, Teresa Gawey, left her corporate job and did not know the direction her career path was going in. She graduated college with a journalism degree, worked in the corporate world, then pivoted to get her master’s degree in social work and worked as an executive director at local nonprofit, Tulsa Area United Way.

After having a premature baby, her life flipped upside down and she decided to become a stay at home mom. After more than a decade of raising her kids, she found a need for yoga in the Tulsa community. She took a risk and opened SALT Yoga. Her studio is all about inclusivity and fun while moving your body, at any level.
