Louise has an awesome Facebook group she has created for tradeswomen to connect. 

Personally, through the last several episodes I have learn so much about the pay scale and benefits in other countries. During this interview you'll hear me make some 'American' mistakes when I assume other countries have the same issues as the United States such as maternity leave.

I learned so much in this episode about how the coop industry works and the latest codes that are impacting builders. Tina helps solve the problem for clients who own a coop or a rental building in NYC make sure they are staying up to code & get bids that are competitive and at  the best market value.

Energy codes are a hot topic in NYC and Tina's business, The Folson Group is in the heart of it. Her company works hard to make sure that coop owners are getting up to code.

Our guest this week is an environmental driller from Canada. Rachel has been running and working a driller for 5 years and finds it to be a very fulfilling career!

Geotechnical drilling is an important part to the construction process. This is generally one of the first steps in the design and building phase. Rachel talks about how she's either the clients best friend or worst enemy with news about the soil.

Rachel discusses the difficulty of getting into the trade and what she'd suggest for other women who are trying to decide if this is for them.

After years of being a surveyor & educator, Peta is now working with an organization called Association of Consulting Surveyors National to begin training the workforce through the Surveyors Academy. She has been employed as the training & development manager and educator to help bridge the gap in industry needs and education for new entrants & existing unqualified surveyors.

Peta is also very active on social media. She uses the platform to bring attention to important causes such as mental health & wellbeing whilst not taking life too seriously by always posting hilarious reels and quotes to get you through the work week.
