Heather is a 31 year old mother of two boys and pilot wife living in Southern California. She is a trained physician assistant and practiced emergency medicine for roughly 5 years until she decided to stay home with my boys. Sweta Singh ‘Sonee’ is a doctoral student at XLRI, author of 'An Egghead's Journal' (2018). She recently compiled and co-authored an anthology called “Unsent Letters from the South Asian Diaspora” that features the open letters from the published and emerging Women and Nonbinary writers of South Asian Origin. These letters touch topics such as self-acceptance, mental health, regional and gender disparity, beauty inclusivity, colorism, values and beliefs, empathy, relationships and inspirations. @sonee.sweta believes that these kinds of collaborations would lead to better representation of voices that are severely underrepresented in the international publishing industry. Kishan Shah is a writer, story teller, public speaker, spoken word poet and performer where he goes by the pseudonym @SpokenThiiird. He is also the head of his own company, Thiiird World, which has three branches; Education, Arts and Charity. He began writing in 2011 and has since written plays, books and  has spoken at schools and universities, which include the London School of Economics where he gave a talk on his latest book 'Diary of a Pilgrim' released January 2019. Kishan travelled around the world  to share his latest book and give talks on spirituality and Jainism. On his podcast ‘Thiiird Eye View’, he interviews people about their passion. Kishan comes from the relatively unknown Jain faith where he offers views from the eastern tradition which can be used in today's world. Born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, @TheAlkaJoshi has lived in the U.S. since the age of nine. She has a BA from Stanford University and an MFA from California College of the Arts. She ran her own advertising and PR agency for 30 years. The Henna Artist was her first novel. Balli Kaur Jaswal is the award winning author of Inheritance, Sugarbread, Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows, and The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters. Jaswal’s short fiction and non-fiction writing have appeared in the UK Sunday Express, Cosmopolitan Magazine, The New York Times, Harpers Bazaar, Conde Nast Traveller and Best Australian Short Stories, among other publications and periodicals. She has travelled widely to appear in international writers festivals to conduct workshops and lectures on creative writing, pursuing an artistic career, the power of storytelling, global citizenship and social justice advocacy through literature. A former writing fellow at the University of East Anglia, Jaswal has taught creative writing at Yale-NUS College and Nanyang Technological University where she is currently pursuing a PhD.
