I took a trip to Byron Bay to visit friends and family and I stopped in to see Kyle Lionhart and we had a great discussion about how he made his break, the highs and lows and how he gets through the waves a business and a creative career can throw at you.

This episode is inspiring for any creative as you can see where someone successful starts and how much work they put in to get themselves somewhere. 

I always enjoy having a good conversation with Kyle and it’s interesting because we realise not many people have someone in their corner to chat about all these things. We are pretty lucky we have been able to help each other for the past 10 years.

We need to change our mindset on busy. Seen as being busy is over celebrated and glorified in our culture.

We need to change ourselves from being busy, to being impactful and effective. 

What does busy even mean?

Busy can simply mean, you sat in your office chair all day and kept yourself busy with low value tasks just so you could “keep busy”.

Impactful is using what little time you have to make the biggest impact. Or the biggest splash.
