19 - How stories can be used to connect with others to create meaningful connections both in your business and personal life with Chris Payne

1h 51m · Published 16 Feb 11:58

Philip Pullman once said: “After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world.”

We have been telling stories for thousands of years, sharing them even before the invention of writing. Telling a story is a very influential method that lets you connect and deliver a message to your audience in a way that resonates and helps them understand at a deeper level.

What you may not know is that stories are an integral part of influence and persuasion.

Those in sales and marketing have known for a long time that stories trump data when it comes to persuasion because stories are easier to understand and relate to. A narrative uses both data and emotions which is way more effective in engaging a listener than just data alone.

But why start telling stories in the first place?

Stories are able to transport our mind to another place, they have the power to make us imagine and see beyond what is possible for us. As napoleon hill said if the mind can conceive it and believe it , it can achieve it. And stores are a way to make that happen.

So I invite you to join me on the journey as I speak to leading UK copywriter, author of 19 books and authority on making money with Kindle ebooks and Amazon paperbacks Chris Payne as he shares how stories can be used to connect with others to create meaningful connections both in your business and personal life.

17 - How To Use Rapport and Relationships to build Your Business Online

1h 25m · Published 23 Nov 16:49

Connecting with your audience in the digital world can bring up many challenges because the communication is not taking place face to face but through a medium which gets you talking one way. In most cases its wide net conversation because you may not be talking to or engaging directly with your target audience.

Robert Louis Stevenson said, “Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant."

What seeds are you sawing online?

How do you keep an online audience engaged, entertained and buying with little to no resistance for years and years - so you don't have to keep looking for new leads and traffic?

How do you turn strangers on the internet into superfans who see you as the only option to buy from because they trust you so highly that they buy whatever you recommend?

14 - How Thoughts and Feelings Can Influence Your Connection And Rapport - David Key

1h 7m · Published 04 Sep 15:05

http://www.digital-rapport.com How #Thoughts, #Feelings and #Emotions can #Influence Your #Connection And #Rapport | David Key , how thoughts and feelings affect #behavior

What is mind? What is consciousness? what is thought ?

How does the brain create and understand these things?

Does the brain transmit and receive random meaning based of our own preconceived notions or does it process the bombardment of data on the 5 senses into something truly meaningful?

Newton's first law states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force… could this be true for thoughts, feelings and emotions too?

The ancients say that when we get out of our own way and go with feeling and flow, we bypass conditioning   and become present to the moment….

A balance of perceptions perhaps?

They say In this state of equilibrium, Judgments fall away, illusions are shattered and all that is left is right now ...a balanced perception and a cleaner connection with others.

Join me on this journey as we talk to a leading UK personal growth expert, life coach and   3 principles practitioner  David key as he shares how your thoughts and feelings can influence your connection and rapport with others.

11 - How To Build Rapport online Using Psychometrics and Personality Traits

59m · Published 09 Jul 10:44

How psychometrics and personality traits can help you connect better online interview with Sukhi Wahiwala (Master series)

Some say we’re all connected and surrounded by an ever present, invisible force.

Today, this seems to be a description of wireless technology .

I believe we are always connected.

But as humans we don't always go around in a perceptive state.

Some of us run around on auto pilot with years of conditioning having influenced our perceptions in a subjective manner.

It's only when we slow down and become present, can we see the world objectively for what is going on in that moment.

Understand yourself and understand others. Do this and you can adapt  and work in harmony with another.

In person this is much easier to do, but how does one create this connection in the online world where you may not know who you are talking to?

Join me on this journey as we talk to strategic business mentor and human behaviour expert, Sukhi Wahiwala as he shares how understanding psychometrics and personality traits can help you connect better online.

In this interview with cover:

  • What is rapport?
  • How to create instant rapport?
  • What is SLUAT
  • How does rapport differ offline from online
  • Can you bridge offline methods to build rapport to online
  • How DSIC can be used for personality profiling
  • Breaking rapport and what no to do
