Born in Taiwan and raised in Canada, Dr. Janie Grumley became a competitive figure skater before beginning her training to become a surgeon. She chose breast cancer as her field of specialty and learned the advanced procedure of Oncoplasty – removing a breast tumor and in the same surgery reconstructing the breast. She is developing new programs at the Margie Petersen Breast Center at Providence St. John’s in Santa Monica, she operated on me when I had breast cancer in 2019.

Launching in 1999 they quickly garnered more than 50% of the regional doughnut market share. Now in 2020 they have opened 18 retail locations and plan to open many more.

Meridith Baer has been a storyteller all her life, first through the written word and then at the age of 50 she reinvented herself with her luxury home staging and design business, Meridith Baer Homes. She helps prospective Buyers imagine life at a new address through visual design and  helps Sellers get top dollar for their homes; and everything in between all across the nation.

Lauren Parrish Walker is the Chief Product Officer of Rachel Zoe and the owner and founder of Parrish which showcases beautiful sweaters and cardigans. With her 25 years in the fashion industry she has been brand building for incredible companies and her own sense of style is the perfect East Coast meets West Coast.

Jenn Worley is the co-founder and chief creative officer for Face Haus which she co-founded with 2 fellow working moms. They were on the hunt for a great facial that they could afford regularly and launched their business in 2013 with their 9th and 10th “hauses” soon to open. What they have created is an open concept “facial bar” where men, women & teens can come  get fantastic, spa-grade facials in a modern and more inclusive environment. All without breaking the bank.

Kristine Lazar is an Emmy award winning investigative reporter for CBS 2 and KCAL 9 News in Los Angeles. She started her news career 20 years ago in Northern Wisconsin, where she juggled forecasting the weather while shooting and editing her own news stories. Flash forward to 2017, when she helped launch a consumer justice franchise, 2 On Your Side. Kristine is the epitome of a journalist who has maintained career success while keeping personal goals.
