37m · Published 19 Jul 15:51
In this interview, I talked to Fadi Tracy about his dream to make medicine cheaper and more accessible for the general public. Furthermore, we discussed his view of dreams, stumbling upon an important message: It is crucial to properly think about your dream before you decide to go for it. Sometimes, choosing the wrong dream might ruin your life.

Once you decide, which dream you want to pursue, try to enjoy every moment you experience on the way and do not try to be perfect.

16. David and his singing journey

33m · Published 25 Jun 18:00
When we are kids, we know very well what we want. Unfortunately, in our teenage years, we become sensitive and ashamed of our true dreams, thus burying them deep in ourselves. The sad truth is, that many of us do not find them anymore.

Fortunately, this was not the case of David Jablonski, who started to chase his dream of becoming a professional singer on a full-time basis. Since January this year, he has been able to produce already 6 singles.

However, his journey to come up to this stage was not easy. As thousands of us, he decided to go on a trip around the world only to realize that you cannot escape from yourself.

15. Florian and his dream to master Chinese

36m · Published 18 Jun 18:00
When we learn a foreign language, we often think that taking classes is the best way. However, what do you do if your teacher is not good? And how often should you take them?

Florian, a student of computer science, world traveler, and passionate language learner did not have this problem, because everyone around him was his teacher and his "classes" were happening all the time. While traveling around Taiwan, he started to learn this extremely interesting language simply asking people around how to say this or that. This proved to be very efficient, as he could master the language to the point when he could have a normal conversation. Now, he still dreams of becoming fluent in Chinese.

We talked about many more things like why it is important to be persistent and naive. We talked also about his fear of failure and how he has changed as a person in recent years.

14. Gabriel and his journey to Hollywood

42m · Published 11 Jun 17:55
The life of an actor is not easy. You often have to deal with rejection. Going from one casting to another and waiting for the final decision can be frustrating. On the other hand, if you do not get one role you wanted to, you can be spotted for another one. Gabriel has a lot of these stories and he is working hard in order to act with the best - in Hollywood.

However, there is one more way you can choose as an actor to escape these rejections. You can become a filmmaker yourself. This way, you learn not only a new skill, but you can write a role for yourself, thus becoming less dependent on other directors. Gabriel chose this way and since then he has made several good movies. Some of them won even a festival prize.

Furthermore, we talked also about "Kino cabaret" - a festival for filmmakers, which changed not only Gabriel´s life, but also mine. Kino cabaret is based also on the sharing principle. You have an idea, which you then share with other filmmakers. If they find your vision interesting, you can find your entire crew and make the film.

We had even more topics, therefore, do not hesitate to listen to this new episode.

Having found his wife in Prague, Knoel moved all the way to this charming capital. However, as he soon realized, being integrated into a foreign country is not so easy.

Nevertheless, he did not give up and today he can proudly call Czechia his home, where he feels well accepted. We talked about his struggles and what worked for him. When we have to decide after high school, what we want to study, a lot of us have no idea. Sadly, we often choose the wrong school or even the wrong studies. Matúš had the same problem and that brought him to the idea to give young people first-hand experience at their desired university before they start to study there.

Together with his friends he created a non-profit organization - Future Generation Europe, which started to organize youth-events that help people not only with their studies but also with their career. Events like Mini-Erasmus, mentoring programs, and many more helped to change the educational scene in Slovakia.

In this podcast episode, we talked about the key factors, which helped Matúš to create Future Generation Europe and what he dreams of. If his story sparked your interest, do not hesitate to listen to our podcast:)
