What Is A Knowledge Product?
Anything that teaches people how to do something.
You can make money from packaging your knowledge & selling it to people who need your help.
This episode shows you exactly how.
Examples of Digital Knowledge Products:
- Ebooks
- Screen Recording on how to use a software/app,
- Video Tutorial on skills like hair, meals etc.
Do People Actually Pay For Digital Knowledge Products?
In spite of free information out there, the answer is YES.
Especially if you have a trusted brand, it becomes easier to sell your knowledge to your existing audience.
That’s why it’s great to select a niche/area where you have personal results.
PPS: I run an Online Marketing Agency, where I work with lots of Course Creators who are making money selling their knowledge.
STEP-BY-STEP ON HOW TO GET STARTED
- Decide on a product
- Validate it: It has to be something people want.
- Pre-sell - Before you invest time in creating something no one may be willing to be pay for, put out a free mini-version & get leads (potential paying customers) whilst you're at it.
- Decide on the format for your actual product.
- Get your pricing right
- Create a sales page
- State the problem you’re solving (in the customer’s own words)
- Highlight the specific results they will get when they use your product
- Share testimonials (again, this could be reviews from the free mini-version or people you’ve taught in the past/ your own personal testimonial)
- Add some form of urgency or hook such as an early discount/ bonus such as group support
7. Time to promote!!!
- Start with your immediate/existing audience - some of which you gathered from the free version
- Then partner & leverage other people’s audience
- Paid Marketing : FB/IG Ads, Google Ads
8. Get feedback & improve on your product.
9. Rinse & Repeat

Truth be told, the big money is in the small niche markets.
