Tia Woods is a Native of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Before moving to Knoxville, she was active in her local community and her home church. Throughout her hometown Lady Tia was well-known as two things: a gifted basketball player and dynamic hair stylist. While working as an apprentice for her mentors, fellow stylists J.D. and Lewis Richardson, she gleaned all she could from their expertise and became a product educator with SoftSheen.

Although she made a wonderful living as a stylist, she deeply yearned to be more involved in the spiritual and emotional development of God’s people. During her formative years she became more involved in the activities such as, the choir and the youth ministry. As she grew closer to God, she began to discover more intensely talents that she had never explored prior to her involvement in ministry. As a result of her spiritual discovery, she developed a desire to worship the Lord through interpretative and liturgical dance which unraveled her heart to develop a dance ministry.

Lady Tia became involved with Teen Challenge in Knoxville, TN, a program that ministers to women who are coming through drug abuse and emotional and physical abuse. In 2012 while continuing her service with Teen Challenge the Lord began to unveil more of his plan through the work with the women at Teen Challenge. Lady Tia, being a fashionista in her own right, thought it befitting to title the ministry God birthed as Stilettos Ministries. Stilettos is a ministry that teaches women to embrace brokenness to receive empowerment through discovery of their identity in Jesus Christ. The heartbeat of Stilettos is just as Lady Tia’s to guide women of all ages and backgrounds in becoming a Titus 2 woman. Truly a powerful woman of God!
